Sherman Law, P.A., is primarily dedicated to representing home owners and businesses who have suffered property damage to their home or business and have been improperly denied or underpaid on their insurance claims by their property insurance company.

Attorneys

Ryan Hunter Sherman, Esq., is the President and sole Shareholder of Sherman Law, P.A., in Miami, FL. An attorney since 2004 (American University – Washington College of Law, in Washington D.C.), he handles complex civil litigation matters including insurance coverage disputes, declaratory judgment actions and business litigation in both state and federal court.

Mr. Sherman primarily represents individuals, condominiums, and businesses in their disputes with their insurance companies over the wrongful denial of insurance benefits owed to them. Prior to starting Sherman Law, P.A., Mr. Sherman represented the insurer in such disputes and, thus, is able to anticipate and effectively react to their various defense tactics and strategies. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2000 and is a member of the Florida Bar (2004); Southern District Court of Florida (2006); American Bar Association; WIND Network; and Mount Sinai Young Presidents’ Club.

George Orellana, Esq., is an Associate Attorney at Sherman Law, P.A., and focuses his practice primarily on first party commercial and residential property coverage.  Mr. Orellana began his career at Sherman Law, P.A., as a law clerk in 2013. Prior to joining Sherman Law, P.A., Mr. Orellana interned for The Honorable Judge Marina Garcia-Wood where he gained a wealth of knowledge in civil law, as he conducted legal research and contributed valuable insight while assisting with courtroom proceedings and pretrial conferences. In 2009, Mr. Orellana graduated cum laude from Florida International University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science. In 2014, Mr. Orellana graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, and was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2014.  He is an active member of the Florida Bar.
